Luke Cabrol
National Certificate in Arboriculture (Level 4 – Advanced)

Director
Hailing from the UK, Luke got into the tree industry in 2003 fresh out of school at the age of 16. It wasn’t long before he was running teams on residential properties and managing projects for the electrical line contract at First Call Tree Clearance in Surrey.
Luke decided to take the leap to New Zealand in 2008, to further his knowledge in the arboriculture industry. Since his arrival he worked for several companies as a crew leader before setting up Arbcon Ltd, a contract climbing business in Auckland in 2015.
In 2017 Luke became the proud owner of Tree King; where he had earlier on spent four years working, helping to conduct staff training and being involved in some of the early business development. Tree King has become one of the leaders in arboriculture on the North Shore of Auckland City. Luke, with the help and support from his team, strive to create an excellent work culture and customer experience.
Outside of Tree King Luke’s passions include motorsport, where he competes in motorcycle racing on and off-road, and music.
