LOOKING AFTER MATURE TREES

An experienced arborist can identify subtle changes in leaf size, twig growth, and crown dieback, which can indicate declining tree health. They can also assess the structural stability of the tree, looking for signs of weakness like cavity openings, twig dieback, and fungal conks.

- Proper Pruning:
Pruning is an important tree maintenance task that has many benefits, including removing dead or diseased branches, improving tree structure, and reducing risk. However, pruning can also be dangerous and should only be done by trained professionals with the right equipment. Arborists can not only perform pruning safely and effectively, but they can also assess the tree’s condition and determine the best pruning strategy to promote tree health and longevity.
- Mulching:
Mulching is an important practice for tree health, as it helps regulate soil temperature and moisture, prevents weed growth, and reduces mechanical damage. In addition, organic mulches provide nutrients as they decompose and improve soil biology.
For best results, apply mulch 5-10 cm deep, starting 5-10 cm from the tree’s trunk and extending to the dripline. If the full distance is not possible, apply mulch as far out as possible without compromising the surrounding landscape.

I've used Tree King 2 or 3 times for pruning and removal, always do a great job and lovely guys.
I highly recommend team of guys from Tree Kings.They removed two large Macrocarpa trees .Whole process was seamless and efficient with prompt contact and affordable quote.They did excellent job .If I need another tree removed in future I know where to go.

Glad I found Tree King. This is the second time I've engaged them for my bamboo/ camelia tree trims.
