Why Auckland needs its trees
Since 2012, the Auckland region has seen a significant loss of urban canopy cover as a result of increasing tree removals. This has led to the loss of many large trees, which are difficult to replace and critical to the health of the urban ecosystem.
Why size matters
Compared to smaller trees, large trees provide a unique set of benefits that contribute significantly to the health and sustainability of urban environments. Their large canopies reduce the amount of rainfall reaching the ground, while their extensive root systems effectively absorb and filter stormwater runoff. Their large surface area and dense foliage also capture more air pollutants, and their increased carbon sequestration rates have a greater impact on atmospheric CO2 levels.

I've used Tree King 2 or 3 times for pruning and removal, always do a great job and lovely guys.
I highly recommend team of guys from Tree Kings.They removed two large Macrocarpa trees .Whole process was seamless and efficient with prompt contact and affordable quote.They did excellent job .If I need another tree removed in future I know where to go.

Glad I found Tree King. This is the second time I've engaged them for my bamboo/ camelia tree trims. They are able to send a reminder based on a particular frequency to Client's request which is great! Highly efficient and communicative team from initial contact to work scheduling. Wonderful, courteous, professional crew, trees trimmed to perfection (as per my requests) and left the place tidy! Very reasonable price for their work too. Highly recommend these guys.

Tree King are top operators.I have 2 large Totara and Pohutakawa trees that required deadwood removal and suitable trimming to notable tree standards.As well, a large Pukka neede removing and other native vegetation trimmed for light.A team of 2 worked with skill and precision on the high trees.The leader was well informed about the scope of work and took time toengage. It's a rare occurrence in these times to find such an easy and comfortable company to work with. Unlike so many trades who turn up late, complain of the work, complain of the boss etc. You know these kinds. Well not Tree King. Luke #1 turned up, scoped the job and quoted promptly at a good price. The Team then arrived on time, the day they were scheduled to. Luke #2 and Yeshi both introduced themselves by name and explained the process. Again rare these days.With Safety at the forefront, these 2 guys worked like Trojans with a skill to be admired. Fantastic right from the initial contact. Online inquiry responded to within 24 hrs. Site visit within days and Job done with in a couple of weeks, even through we were right on Christmas and New Years. Job done right and clean was great.
Tree King are our guys for any arborist work. The trees on our property are remnants of protected bush requiring precision and knowledge. Luke and the team are always professional and they have worked closely with the council to ensure the integrity of the trees are maintained.

Tree King were fabulous, they were easy to deal with on the phone. Came round to scope job and provide us a quote very quickly. They kept us updated constantly on expectation of timing for job completion and did the job much more quickly than originally anticipated.
